Have you ever been to the theater? I have been a few times, and I am always blown away at how real the characters become and how involved I get into their plight. Even though I know that the people right in front of me are actors on a stage. The lights and the mood and the props all come together in this glorious harmony. That’s what makes theater beautiful. If you have never been I suggest you try it. I was skeptical at first seeing as how we live in the modern day with all our fancy gadgets and special effects. Movies really pull out all the stops and have made so many great films that are nearly unbelievable. But there is just something special about the theater.
With that being said I looked up some theaters here in the area to see what shows were being put on and came across this.
From October 18th to the 21st they will be putting on a play that was adapted from the 1915 John Buchan novel and also from Alfred Hitchcock’s 1935 film. “Take a juicy spy novel, add a dash of Monty Python, shake vigorously, and you have a fast-paced whodunit for anyone who loves the magic of theatre!”
this is directed by Ted Jaquith and featuring Terrence Boyd, David Foster, Cindy Giese French and Lauren Walker
AND all seats are only $14 – That’s a great deal for some live action entertainment!
If you have never been to a play at a theater, it is an experience you will always remember. Try it out!
